ARTEFATTO PROGRAM

Visual arts, music, workshops, site-specific installations and socialising, training and information gathering opportunities… ARTEFATTO is a mixture of events focused on young talents.
Promotion and support of artists aging from 18 to 30 is the aim of ARTEFATTO, one of the projects of the Poli di Aggregazione Giovanile which refers to the Servizio Biblioteche Istruzione e Politiche Giovanili [Area Educazione Università Ricerca Cultura e Sport] of the Municipality of Trieste.
ARTEFATTO has the partnership of Ufficio Scolastico Regionale FVG, University of Trieste and the Music Conservatory “G. Tartini” and links to the GAI (Young Italian Artists) and to the BJCEM.

OPENING

Palazzo Gopcevich, via Rossini 4 Friday 13th May 6 p.m

“Orchestra Laboratorio 4.0” – Scuola di Jazz del Conservatorio di Musica “G.Tartini'” with Roberto Mikuljan (trumpet), Giorgio Giacobbi (tenor sax), Efrem Scacco, Bruno Muzzin and Piero iuretig (electric guitar), Sione Lanzi (doublebass), Camilla Collet (drums).

A session of arrangements curated by the “Orchestra Laboratorio 4.0”, celebrates the anniversaries of the pubblication of some important jazz artists’ albums. These albums have been contaminated by pop, rock, ethnic and contemporary music.

Teapot Graffiti – “Scuola di Musica e Nuove Tecnologie del Conservatorio ‘G.Tartini'”, Adriano Castaldini’s video installation.

The charm of the mechanical instruments from the “Schmidl” Civic Theatrical Museum’s collection and their interactions with new technologies are combined in an active multimedial installation for the whole time of the event.

It is an interactive photographic set that has the hashtag and the public as protagonists.

From 20 p.m, the piano in the “Sala Bobi Bazlen” is let to be used by whoever wants to play his own music.

It is about health promotion, prevention and Peer Education in the information area of Overnight, “Androna Giovani” and “Progetto Afrodite” and it is curated by the “Azienda Sanitaria e Universitaria Integrata di Trieste
