Alexandria – Egypt

CANTOS Foundation for Arts & Development, a member of BJCEM Association, presents the first edition of the CANTOS International Choral Forum, taking place in Alexandria, Egypt, from 5 to 8 November 2026.

The CANTOS International Choral Forum is an international festival and educational programme conceived as a platform for international choral exchange, connecting voices, cultures and communities across the Arab and African regions and the wider world.

The Forum is envisioned as a bridge between the choral movements of the Global North and Global South, fostering artistic exchange, intercultural dialogue and shared musical experiences.

The first edition will feature non-competitive choral performances and educational programmes, with two participation categories:

• International Choral Performances – non-competitive concert festive performances.
• International Choral Workshops – workshops, masterclasses, lectures and demonstrations.

Participants are invited to take part in the Forum and/or to present a lecture, workshop or seminar.
