From May 20th to 22nd 2016, the entire city of Thessaloniki, BJCEM partner, will be transformed into a colourful children’s puzzle for the 3rd edition of ‘Elephantastico’ European Children’s Festival of Thessaloniki!
Creators, street artists, performers, storytellers and jugglers from all over Europe and around the world, coming from France, Germany, Austria, Russia and, naturally, Greece, will collaborate in the context of the festival to create a colourful, interesting and creative world for children, full of life and ready to welcome every child as a citizen!
The Municipality of Thessaloniki, the Municipality of Leipzig, the University, libraries, TIF-Helexpo, museums, cultural centres, institutes of European countries and the city’s agencies are all contributing to the creation of ‘Elephantastico’, a different kind of festival.
The Festival is addressed to young people, future active citizens and co-creators of the city’s culture, giving them the opportunity to come into contact with all forms of art through games, to co-exist, to cultivate their imagination and to dream! BJCEM invites everyone to visit ‘Elephantastico’, meet its people, attend its actions, have fun, enjoy, participate and create a Lilliputian revolution of culture throughout the city!
