EXPLORING THE OPPORTUNITIES OF DIGITAL TOOLS
Sunday 25th May, h 4:00 p.m., Bari Fiera del levante, pavilion 152 - Regione Puglia

New technologies offer artists and cultural practitioners more possibilities than ever for creating, connecting and collaborating. This session will be a practical guide, with workshop leaders from LabforCulture.org, The Digital Artists Handbook (folly) and Neural.it acting as pathfinders, providing inspirational examples of ways participants can work together and create with the help of these tools (including free and open source software of all kinds, social networks, wikis, blogs, etc.). Participants will be actively encouraged to share their own experiences, perspectives and questions.

To participate in the workshop is requested a reservation at the Meeting Point.

The Digital Artists Handbook is an up to date, reliable and accessible source of information that introduces different tools, resources and ways of working related to digital art. The goal of the Handbook is to be a signpost, a source of practical information and content that bridges the gap between new users and the platforms and resources that are available, but not always very accessible.
