However, there is the will of Mediterranean countries to strengthen this South, who has specific characteristics, originated by different ways of being of the countries that compose it.
In this context, the city of Barcelona will organise, for the first time, from 15th to 24th November 1985, the Biennial of Young Productions of Europe and Mediterranean. To realise this, it entered in contact with different institutions and associations of European and Mediterranean countries, for strengthening, stimulating and spreading the present situation of young creativity.
With this Biennial, the city of Barcelona wants to offer to young artists, who still are out of commercial circuits, a market infrastructure for possible exchanges, diffusion and contamination by other productions.
