It is a great pleasure for us to invite You to take part in the XXV International Festival Sarajevo - "Sarajevo Winter 2009"- a traditional cultural and artistic event taking place in the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Festival will be held under the motto "Organic Art Life".

The XXV International Festival Sarajevo "Sarajevo Winter 2009" will, as every year, represent an encounter of artists from all over the world. The International Peace Center Sarajevo is the organizer of the Festival.

The programme consisting of the Theatre plays, Concerts, Movies, Fine Arts Exhibitions, Panel Discussions, Literary Events, Architecture, Video, Programmes presenting cultural heritage and Children Programmes will be presented within the next edition of the Festival.

2nd Environmental Film Festival EKO OKO will take place as part of the program of 25th Jubilee Sarajevo Winter Festival 2009 from March 1 to March 9, 2009. The official title of the Eco Festival will be the same as the name of the Festival itself Organic Art Life.

In addition, we shall announce the international competition for the artists younger than 30  for the best composition (solo for piano and chamber orchestra) and coreografy for the contemporary dance (not longer 25') on the theme Organic Art Life. The copmetition will be open from June 21 -December 21, 2008.  The winers will be announced on January 21, 2009. The Festival will be a co-producer of the performing of the best composition and coreography which will be presented on March 21, 2009. The wiiners will be awarded with Golden Snowlake

The programmes of the Festival are not only being held in the theatres, galleries, museums and concert halls in the city, but on the Olympic mountains as well, both during the Festival and within the Opening and Closing Ceremony.

The Festival has an honour to invite You to present Your project as one of the programmes for the following edition of the "Sarajevo Winter" Festival.
