Frammenti 2008 will be "Aspettando i Tartari" (Waiting for the Tartars). Putting the spotlight on the intercultural dialog we want to analize an idea of contemporary culture concieved as a result of meetings and waitings: the waiting for the Other, sometimes unconscious, sometimes obsessive, however determined by a natural change.

Send us a photo in digital phormat, searching for the suggestions and images most evocative for you of the idea of Tartar; wherever, whenever we face our Other.
Describe the image with a word, a phrase, a tought, a quote explaining the motivation that brought you to represent the chosen idea.
All the submitted photos will be published on the website www.semintesta.it.

The most significant photos will be selected for a temporary exposition in the streets of Frascati for the eight edition of the Frammenti happening from the 1st to 8th of September 2008.
To partecipate, send an e-mail to fotografailtuotartaro@semintesta.it with the object ASPETTANDO I TARTARI, containing name, surname, place and date of birth, home address, phone number and e-mail.
You can attach to the mail up to three pictures (max. three submissions for participant). The name of the picture will have to contain the motivation or the title of the work.
Accepted formats are .tiff, .jpeg, .jpg, weighting not more than 1,5 MB for image.
