This workshop's theme is Shapes in the water , as a symbol of the centrality of Sicily in the Mediterranean. The aim is projecting living spaces which rise not on the earthline, but on the crest of a wave, developing towards the sky as well as toward the sea bed, just as floating objects in a sort of cyberspace, but more familiar than that foreseen in the universe of information technology. The workshop will take place in Ortigia, a beautiful island in front of Siracusa, full of tradition but ready to open to future....

Contemporary cities are related to movement: perceiving urban spaces is more and more related to crossing practices, instead of static contemplation. Resting places have to be characterized by a series of services and information. The former signal becomes an equipped area, where the user can connect himself to the city's network and get any information for a correct use of the city (multimedia information, such as weather, commercial zones, news, music, shows.)....

Trois artistes finlandais, Niko Luoma, Riiko Sakkinen et Katja Tukiainen font une voyage á Balkan en Avril. Ils divident des affiches, qui racontent des stereotypies ethniques des pays participant á la Biennale.Les affiches sont en forme A2 / noir et blanc. Les textes sont en italien, grecque, anglain et finnois. Ils font aussi un video sur leur trajet. Ils montrent ces affiches et le video á la Biennale á Athens....
