Zone Attive s.r.l. is a company which belongs to the City of Rome
On behalf of the City of Rome it has sponsored and realised several events (such as Biennial of Young Artists from Europe and Mediterranean), festivals like Enzimi (www.enzimi.com), Fotografia - International Festival of Rome, Letterature - International Festival of Rome (www.festivalroma.org); international awards (Premio Borromini, European Film Awards) and a cultural youth card for the young people, go.card (www.gocard.org)

Taking actions in order to promote original cultural productions, supported by creative ideas and directed to everyone, is what Zone Attive tries to do. This is the reason why one of our main objectives is that of following every new inspiration with the attempt to involve any firm, agency or company which wants to take part actively in that kind of contest.
Always in touch with the most updated national and international tendencies (especially in Europe), paying good attention to new generations, Zone Attive captures artistic trends and evolving cultures, so as to give the widest audience as possible the chance to see and enjoy them.
Zone Attive has realised the edition of the Biennale 1999 in Rome, preparing over 40.000 square metres at the ex Mattatoio (Slaughter-House) in Testaccio. The artistic works from 22 Countries, represented by more than 1.500 artists, were displayed in that huge exhibition area from 29 May untill 22 June. The show took place during the Balkan conflict, hosting together Yugoslavian and Albanian artists, as well as Palestinian, Arabian and Israeli ones beside young people from the Mediterranean Europe. An event without precedent, which reduced any ideological distance and cultural difference, fusing visual and applied arts, cinema, music, writing and show.
