Cultural Association MINERVA was founded in 1998, as a project of Independent Forum of the Albanian Woman, with the support of Ministry of Social Affairs of Italy and the paternity of cultural association ARCS (ARCI, Cultura e Sviluppo). Its goal is the promotion and support of cultural, and artistic activities of youth and women that work in these fields. Today the association MINERVA acts independently of founders.

From 1998 till 2003 the following activities were organised in the framework of association
-The exhibition of the young painters of the Art Academy, Tirana 1998
- Publication and promotion of the book Larg dhe afër njerëzve of Liri Lubonja, 1998
- Promotion of the album with the works of Mediterranean Women 1998
- Meeting with the famous writer Elena Kadare for the promotion of her book Një grua nga Tirana, 1999
- Promotion of the anthology of poetry of writer from Albania and Kosovo prepared by Ali Podrimja, 2000
- Organization of open air classical music concerts of the violinists of Artistic Lyceum 2000
- Organization of a tour in Spain of young violinists, 2000
- Organization of a tour in Greece, Thessaloniki in the framework of the Women's Interbalkan Cultural Week with some of the most famous piano players, coreographers and musicians of 2001.
- Concert with Pax Dei Coir, directed by Zana Turku, on the occasion of the Balkan Conference of women in Tirana, 2002
- Organization of participation of the young artists from Albania in the Biennial XI, Athens, Greece 2003.


Cultural Association MINERVA, cultural association for the young artists became member of International Association of Biennial on 14 December 2002 at the meeting of the International Association held in Malaga.
Cultural Association MINERVA was invited at this meeting from SHNBAEM in Malaga, to be part of the Euro Mediterranean network of Biennial and with the charge for the organization of the Albanian young artists that will participate in Biennial. Most of the members of international association were familiar with Cultural Association MINERVA because of the different activities that MINERVA had organized and also because of its program.

Association Culturelle MINERVA a été fondé en 1998, dans le cadre de l'Independent Forum for the Albanian Woman, avec le concours du Ministère des Affaires Sociales italien, et sous la «patronage» de l'association culturelle ARCS (ARCI, Culture et Développement).
Ses objectifs sont la promotion et le soutien des activités culturelles, littéraires, et artistiques des jeunes et des femmes qui travaillent dans ces secteurs. A présent, l'association MINERVA agit en complète indépendance de ses fondateurs initiaux.

Depuis 1998 et jusque 2003, dans le cadre de l'association, ont été organisées:

- L' exposition de jeunes peintres de l'Académie d'Art, Tirana 1998
- La Publication et la promotion du livre «Larg dhe afër njerëzve» de Liri Lubonja, 1998
- La Promotion d'un livre album reprenant les travaux des femmes de la Méditerranée 1998

- La rencontre avec la célèbre écrivain Elena Kadare pour la promotion de son livre « Një grua nga » Tirana, 1999

- la Promotion d'une anthologie de poèmes d'écrivains d'Albanie et du Kosovo, sous la direction d'Ali Podrimja, 2000
- L'Organisation de concerts de musique classique, en plein air, avec l'ensemble Artistique des violonistes du Lyceum, 2000
- L'Organisation d'une tournée en Espagne avec de jeunes violonistes, 2000
- L'Organisation d'une tournée en Grèce, à Thessalonique, dans le cadre de la semaine de la culture Interbalkanique des femmes, avec la participation de grand noms du piano, de la chorégraphie et de la chanson 2001.

- Un Concert avec Pax Dei Coir, dirigé by Zana Turku, à l'occasion de la Conférence des femmes des Balkans à Tirana, 2002
- L'Organisation de la participation des jeunes artistes d'Albanie, à la XIe édition de la Biennale, à Athènes, Grèce 2003.

L'Association Culturelle MINERVA, est membre de l'Association pour la Biennale des Jeunes Artistes de l'Europe et de la Méditerranée depuis le 14 Décembre 2002. Elle a été invitée à la réunion du SHNBAEM à Malaga, afin d'entrer dans le réseau de la Biennale de l'Euro Méditerranée, avec en charge, l'organisation de la participation des jeunes artistes d'Albanie. Enfin, l' Association Culturelle MINERVA est connu de la plupart des membres d'associations internationales, grâce aux différentes activités qu'elles a organisé et des programmes mis en place.
