New collaboration with Swab, Barcelona International Art Fair

May 23-26th 2012 / Barcelona Fair, Pavillion 2 – Barcelona, Spain
BJCEM has been invited to participate to Swab, the International Contemporary Art Fair of Barcelona.
As an highly respected Art platform, Swab is interested in hosting international galleries which are focused on younger, emerging contemporary artists, with the aim to give to this new generation of artists the opportunity to have their work seen by members of the public and the global art community, including: leading art collectors, dealers, press and curators.
Thanks to the collaboration of our partners, we will present the works of the following artists:

Muhammad Ali, presented  by AIN (Association IN), from Damascus, Syria.
Carmen Laurino, presented by Visioni Future Association, from Potenza, Italy.
Giulia Manfredi, presented by Visioni Future Association, from Potenza, Italy.
Isabella Mara, presented  by the City of Milan, from Italy.
Birgit Petri, presented  by the Arts and Culture Department of the Federal Ministry of Education, from Vienna, Austria.

Isabella Mara is also taking part to the charity project Swab Toy’z by FLS (Fundaciò Lluita Contra la Sida), that involves more that 100 artists and designers who will make an artistic intervention on a white QEE’s of 8″, turning each one into a unique and exclusive piece. The customized toys will then be sold on-line and in an auction during the Fair.

Among the artists who will present their works in the Fair, Swab will select one who will participate to WEYA, World Event Young Artists, as a member of BJCEM network.
