XV Biennale de la Méditerranée: Final report

On our Issuu Channel it’s possible to consult and download a dossier on the last edition of the Biennial.

It contains photos of the Biennial and a brief description of the event and of its outcomes, such as the presences of the artists, which were more than 250 coming from 27 different Countries, and the attendance of the public, which was assessed around 20.000 presences in Thessaloniki and 2.000 in Rome.

The dossier is also linked to the press-review of the event and to the analysis of a questionnaire we’ve submitted to our members and to the artists who participated to the last Biennial, which turned out to be a precious instrument to highlight the weakest and the strongest aspects of the Biennial and to show us in which domains we need to make changes or improvements. The results outlined a general good level of satisfaction with the event and picked out its strengths, such as the opportunity to meet artists and organizations from all over Europe and the Mediterranean area and the opportunity to participate to an event with an international reputation. It also helped us to highlight some weaknesses, such as technical and logistic matters and the importance to improve our communication tools.

If you want to see photos and videos of the Biennial you can visit our Flickr page and our Vimeo Channel.
